My name is Russell, and I'm from the east coast of Australia.
Am a hobbyist photographer, and love tinkering with the video side of my DSLR's.
Currently own a Canon 1D-X, which I upgraded to from a MKII (which I still have).
Have a passion for cars, so filming cars, car shows etc is the direction I want to initially take - still strictly a hobbyist though. No plans on trying to go pro.
Have been a lurker here for some time, and love the depth of information available. Did have a question or two for a sub-forum, so I thought I'd do the right thing and post an intro before jumping in.
