I had used the earlier model of Gitzo 12' carbon (7560?) and liked it and thought it was a great bargain. When I went to order it a few months ago it disappeared from B&H. Well Matt recommended waiting for a new one at NAB and yep, they released the GB3560. So I just got it in the mail from B&H and I freakin love it! It feels marginally lighter than the earlier one, but they improved the collars! Just a slight quarter turn to unlock or lock. I absolutely cannot believe this sucker is just $269. This should be the defacto boom pole for anyone not wanting to spend over $500.
