This weekend we discovered that Gawker Media's servers were compromised, resulting in a security breach at Lifehacker, Gizmodo, Gawker, Jezebel, io9, Jalopnik, Kotaku, Deadspin, and Fleshbot. If you're a commenter on any of our sites, you probably have several questions.

If you ever used one of those sites, change your passwords asap, the email addresses you used to sign up are listed with the decoded passwords.

thankfully, my password was a randomly assigned one and my e-mail address is one I use to keep stuff from forums and message boards separate from the real deal.
