Gathering parts for adapter, a couple of questions...

I know that these may have been beaten to death, but here goes:

1. First the simple question: Nikon lenses all mount the same correct? the F or FD mount? I have looked at several broken cameras on ebay and the mount looks exactly the same as the mount on a Nikon D1X (digital SLR). Someone correct me if I am wrong.

2. This one will probably spark debate: Ground glass vs. Focus Screen...

I am torn between getting the 600 or 1500 grit round 2" ground glass from Thor Labs (which are like $15) and the Nikon D Screen. Those Nikon Screens seem to be either a) few and far between on ebay...or b) very expensive when you find them.

So I am looking for some insight on that and the answer to the nikon mount question.

I would kill for a few of the elusive "AOL CASES" right now... they sound great, and cheap.. and I haven't seen an AOL disc come in a clear case in a long time!
