Garden gazing ball

[R!ff R4ff]

I recently saw the BTS stuff for Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe. They were moving those garden gazing balls around, I was hoping someone could tell me, point me in the right URL as to why?

Thanks

I wondered also. My guess--reference of some kind for the CGI elements.
