Hi!
I did format my mac last week and reinstalled Mac OS X 10.3.9. My problem is that I don't have Garageband anymore. I tried to install the both Installation CD and one more that is called ¨Logiciels supplémentaire¨it's in french and in means something like more softwares and it came with my G5. Am I suppose to have a special CD for GarageBand? Sorry I know it's not about FCP.

Check to see if you have iLife or Applications. When you do the install click on customize and see if they're listed.

They are probably on your computer's restore CD, or as a separate iLife CD. I recently did a reinstall and found that it didn't install stuffit expander, which I had to manuarlly install off the CD.

I believe Garage Band, iphoto, iMovie, iDVD and whatever else is all on the same disk. Just put in disk and when you get through the installer to the "Option" button. click it and you should be able to choose which apps to install. If others are installed just check what you need.
