G2/G3 Intermod distortion

OK, so I think I made a rookie mistake. Got a new G3 to add to an existing G2 to record some standup at Gotham. Checked the freq to make sure they were not on the same channel. I only used the bar graphs to check levels......didn't listen...
Breakup galore on both channels. 518.150 and 518.200. Never had the problem with a single G2.

What is the workable separation for multiple wireless mikes? Low power is not my forte. 50KW and Megawatt is more my style in xmiters.

Thanks for any advice.

You have to use the same frequency bank for IM-free.

The two frequencies have to be at least 350 to 400 kHz apart - yours are only 50kHz apart and would give you lots of problems being so close.

There are several banks on G2 and G3 with the same frequenccy sets so make sure you choose equivalent banks in future.
