I am looking to buy the 30-296 plug for the Sennheiser G1 and 2 systems I own, most probably from Electronics Plus as Markertec post cost to Oz is way too much.
The problem is a fellow colleague showed me some Countryman b3 lapels he recently bought from USA with what looks to be the same plug fitted for his Sony radios and after checking the G1's we use on the News set was found to be not suited. I was hoping to order a quantity of the 30-296 but I'm not convinced they suit Sennheiser g1 and 2 and the store doesn't know either. I know some people recommended these and appreciate their help but need to know is there another type that looks the same but is different thread that suits Sony but not Sennheiser G series.
