G-Tech G-Safe RAID back up question!

Has anyone used the G-Safe?

I'd love to hear some feedback about it... It seems like a good system, RAID1, hot swappable... Just seeing if there are any pitfalls to worry about?

Also, I'm looking into getting a G-Drive mini 320gb 7200rpm to work in tandem with the G-Safe... using the mini on location and dumping to the safe for editing... thoughts?

[Retrospective]

I use G-RAID Mini (2 x 250 GB 5400 RPM) via FW800
Works very fast without external AC plug.

My one beef is when the drive freezes, I have to unplug it and my Macbook doesn't recognize it when plugging it back...

The G-Safe is marketed to photographers on their site 'cause they don't consider it fast enough for video editing. It does look like one of their most redundant options, data security wise.
