FX Chooser Problems help!

[Greg Crawford]

The FX selector has stopped working on my Vegas 9. I can drag a video FX onto a clip in the time line, but I am not able to go back and tweak the settings. I can undue any any chance that I've made, and then move on. What I can't do is make any fine tune adjustments when adding an FX. Plus I am not able to go back and make any further changes, fine tuning or course adjustments. Does anyone know what I may have inadvertently turned off? Or is this an issued where I will need to reinstall the Program.
