I just finished putting together a project that mixes 24PA footave, with some long montages of documents I made in motion. The documents fade in, fade out, quotes get pulled up from them, and they pile up on a background file. They look fine in quicktime playback, and in the FCP timeline. But when I put them on DVD they look awful, lots of pulsing around the areas where the black and whites touch. My client said it looks fuzzy, and wants me to fix it.
To me it looks like a problem with line detail, like if I was shooting this with a DVX I would put it in thick line detail to fix the problem. Anyway to do something similar with motion?
