funny line shows up

I use my dvx captured in premiere pro 1.5 footage in After Effects 6.5 and get a line towards the bottom third right hand side of frame. Anyone ever seen this . . . anyone gotta fix pls :P I use the Matrox RTX100 and suspect its the dv compression Matrox uses . . . hmm

Post a frame of it. I wanna see what exactally your talking about.

Yes, please post a grab. And are you saying it's not visible when playing back in Premiere Pro or Windows Media Player? Something tells me it's there too.

If it's FAR right, on the edge, then it won't be visible when played back on tv.

Never seen that before. If it only shows up in AE then that's your problem. If it shows up in Premiere and WM Player then the compression is your problem. If it shows up in your camera when you playback the tape then the camera is the problem. Of course you already figured all this out. Sorry I can't be of any help. Maybe trying posting a thread in the Technical Section.

yes, very odd indeed. I've don't remember seeing anything like that before. Is this the first time? Let's just better hope its not the DVX thats causing this..

I Know for sure it is only there in after effects and I know that a friend of mine had the same problem with footage captured from a sony, the only common part is the Matrox ???
