This looks really solid. I read the book (And I don't read to many fiction novels) and am looking very forward to this.

What a cast! Hanks, Tautou, McKellen, Molina, Bettany, Reno! Wow!


Ron Howard has really come into his own over the last handful of years.
 
Can you imagine how much $$$$$ this is gonna rake in. This might break records, with the fan base of the book(still on the bestseller list after three years) and with Tom Hanks starring, with Ron Howard at the top of his game right now.... I can only imagine.
Sony's got themselves a winner with this one.
 
My only concern is the runtime... ALL of Brown's books are sooo full of details/research/devaiatons that I just can't see how it may fit in a less than 6 hours long movie, unless the screenwriters are Fran Walsch and Peter Jackson. But, we'll see, I sure hope it's as good as Howard's latest works.
 
It's nice to see Tom Hanks in a movie again. I was down for awhile because he took a little hiatus. This looks badass nonetheless. I can't wait.

P.S. Tautou is HAWT
 
Oh, and I finally watched the trailer... Why the hell do they show so much from the very end? TOO much. But looks good, yes.

i agree with you. what a great cast. cant wait to see it...
 
I don't know. Intriguing plot but with nothing special about you characters. I'm hoping the movie fleshes the characters out a bit. I didn't think the book was all that other than having an explosive premise.
 
I was looking forward to something like this. it is not as attractive as the book was.
 
Dont know if you guys knew... but did you guys notice at the end of the trailer. Where 'some' of the letters from the list of main actors kinda glow - separating themselves from the rest?

It's an anagram, the letters are "T H S E C D E O" ...

now...

just before tis main list of characters they show the word "SEEK"... you put all of it together and you get "SEEK THE CODES".

So people did. I did. Everyone did I think. It's been talked about on the net.
