What makes the Sony F900 (for example) worth 80k (without lens) and a full frame dslr (few k) when you can obtain amazing results with the FF? Ofcourse you have your pro cam features, connections, recording capabilities, etc....but what else?
The Sony F900 is almost a decade old. By today's standards, it's ok, but not all that and a bag of chips. I think that is the what else you are asking about. The F900 is a professional broadcast/cinema camera hybrid. Back in the day it was pretty amazing on the cusp of HD acquisition in cinema. So that's really it. It was a wonderful and expensive camera back then... which is like 100 years in camera years. It has great indepth menu and settings. You can really paint the image in camera, it's crazy how detailed that can get. I've been lost in the menu more times to mention.
