Fuji X-T3 released

Looks like it's an Xt3 with an XT20 body. No 4k 60, no 10 bit or HEVC. Does have 200mbps in 4k, 2k, and 1080. Also has the new v3 XT3 face and eye tracking. F-log and eterna are there too as well as 10 bit output.

Understandable, but for many the limit is workable. Also better af might make it more attractive if accurate.

Its got the improved auto focus that is coming to the X-T3 in the next update in April. If you don't do long recordings its a pretty nice camera. F-log has banding issues, but Eterna looks great in 8 bit. I'd say for the price its the best camera out there. I have an XT3 and XT2 so I won't be buying it though.

Eterna looks better in 10-bit, why shoot 8-bit at all with the X-T3? That's one of the main reasons I bought the X-T3.

This was shot on the XT-2 and looks beautiful, IMO:

Looks just as good if not better than most bmpcc 4k material I've been seeing hoping up. Still not as organic as the original bmpcc but defintely on par with the newer. I love FUJI colors.

Looks like the X-mount MK zooms are on sale right now. $1000 off at B&H. For the price of an EVA-1 you could have an X-T3 and 18-135mm T2.9 parfocal zoom set. Pretty sweet deal IMO.

I know, killer deal, right? I am trying to get Fuji to get me a set of these to shoot with for a month. From what I have seen and heard, a LOT of bang for the buck here.

I loved everything about this. My only complaint is way too much slow motion. On a piece like this, any of the emotional impact of slow motion is blunted by the fact that almost every shot is slow motion. Great composition, lighting, solid editing.

Yeah no 10 bit. Unless they change it upon release but it seems like something they'd advertise. That video looks nice, I just got a used XT2 as a B cam.

No internal 10-bit, you still have 10-bit output via HDMI. So if you're recording to something like a Ninja V, the output should match the X-T3.

True, which is great to have in such a cheap camera. Lets hope other manufacturers get on the band wagon.

Searching for a Gimbal Cam and after reading all i can about this Cam i am pretty sure its gonna be the X-T3..
So i tried it in the Store with the 17-55 stock lens and i noticed how fast the Autofocus was. Tried to slow it down in the settings but even on slowest setting it was quite fast. Now it was not on the newest firmware and i wanted to ask you guys how you can set it to slow focus pulls? Also has anyone experience with the canon 70-200 2,8 with the fringer adapter on the x-t3.. especially the Autofocus behaviour would be interesting..
thanks guys..

The autofocus custom settings only work whilst you're recording. Customised to make gentler transitions, they work surprisingly well to take the 'auto' edge off the autofocus.
