Happy with the low light.
Currently have the 10-24mm, 16-55mm and 50-140mm Fuji zooms. Sharpest lenses I own, honestly.
Are these the Fuji lenses, Matt?

Yes it was a good sensor choice. I don't think the GH5 came close to as much dynamic range, though it wasn't too shabby either. Definitely better then the GH4(log was pretty much unusable in 8 bit).macgregor already found the XT2 to be the king of dynamic range among mirrorless cameras, so that was definitely expected

(what I get out of the c5d graph is that the GH5s is waaaaay better than I give Panasonic credit for; the GH4 was atrocious in terms of DR, glad to see them improving THAT MUCH in just one generation and a half)
At this point in time, IMO, anything that's ever being compared to Panasonic mirrorless specs should have an asterisk at the end of the statement:
"If not considering the sensor size."
This is the first APS-C mirrorless camera to provide 4K/60p. Everything else is MFT or smaller, or FF (with a crop...1DX Mark II).
So in this regard Panasonic has to catch up with Fuji. And so does Canon, Sony, Nikon, and Olympus.
On a side note, wife and I will be heading down to NZ for 3 weeks in November, so it will be my main photo camera for that too.
Why does sensor size really matter?
Not for image quality or low light for most of us.
As the GH5/GH5S is right up there.
Is it for shallow depth of field?
T0.95 on MFT is already impractically shallow for most shoots! So why do we need to go even more shallow?
And if image sensor size is what really matter, then we should only buy Medium Format! ;-)
For the GH5, "low light" basically means any interior shooting without setting up lights. This is documentary-style production.
You are an excellent audio professional but you have so much to learn about the video industry.
Yet he was spot on...
And I'm one of those large format shooters. I find it rather odd that people refer to 135 and Vista Vision as "large format" given that they're smaller than medium format.

No, it's not. I've been hired to shoot documentaries... we lit our subjects.
