My biggest frustration with Super 8mm was seeing nice images projected 6, 7 or 8 feet across and knowing that this would be the best it ever looked. We couldn't afford high quality transfers to video so had to settle for a DIY film chain set up that really killed the quality. Now with 16mm; Projecting the answer print, one generation off of the negative, was exhilarating and being able to share that with an audience was very cool.
