FS100 cradle - how does it mount?

Hi guys,
I am looking for a cradle mount for my FS-100 with the bigger battery.

I know that Focus themselves have a unit. However, I am using my fwd hotshoe adaptor to hold my wireless mic receiver so I need the cradle to screw into the rear handle screw-mount. Is that where the focus cradle attaches to or is it only available for the forward hot shoe mount? I seem to read some posts say that it 'screws in' whilst others say 'hot shoe mount' so I'm confused. How have people found this cradle for day to day use?

As far as I know it mounts to the shoe with the locking ball adapter. At least mine does. Or, it clips onto your belt. I have the larger batteries and the unit fits fine in the cradle I have but I am using the normal shoe at the front of the camera handle. It sounds like you might need an accessory device like this.

PM me and I'll give you the URL to see a clip of mounts I've tested for the FS-100. I've worked with FE a great deal on tutorials for the Firestore series, and get to test a lot of options.

Personally, I use the CamHandle both hand held and tripod. Relieves arm strain, I can go hand held literally all day long with no problems. Plus it gives you much more control and steadier shots. Even on a tripod, I can pan and tilt with MUCH more control. It's amazing.
