FS100 autofocus randomly re-adjusts

I've been shooting long depositions with the V1U and the AX2000 for a couple of years now, and I recently started using an FS100. This is the first I've seen this happen: Every once in a while, despite that a subject is not moving much, the auto-focus will blur for a few seconds before sharpening again. Why?

There's nothing stopping me from just shooting in manual, but I am hoping there's nothing wrong with the camera.

I never use AF on my FS100. I have the 18-200 kitlens, that I also rarely use.
When I want to have AF, i just push the "One Push AF" button, sothat it focuses
as long as I push that button. When the subject is sharp, I release the button.

When the AF registers something, it tries to focus until it's sharp. When your subject is
moving, it the focus will change even if it doesn't make any sense to you.
You better rely on MF.

You didn't mention exposure, etc but if you don't have enough light or your subject is moving a lot and you're depth of field isn't all that great, then the FS100 having to hunt for focus would be pretty much expected.

Having said that just, randomly hunting isn't normal outside of those conditions so if you want to test for a camera issue, point it at something that isn't moving and is well lit. The autofocus should be rock solid.
