Hmmm... Not sure what happened to my original post from the other day, so here it is again, with an update...

Looking to sell:

DVX100 original (not the A or B model) (US NTSC)
Panasonic "DV Cinema" branded Kata soft case
3 additional 3100mAh batteries (one PowMax, two DVXuser)
Barry Green's excellent DVX Book & DVD
72mm Tiffen clear UV lens protector

Additionally, all original items, packaging and documentation is included. This includes the remote, original 1600mAh Panasonic battery, AC Adapter, users' guide, etc..

Very low hours - 36!!! 8)

Camera was never used as a deck. Not long after purchase, it was moved to a B camera status when I purchased a DVX100A and usage was very minimal and it's just been sitting around seeing maybe an hour of use every month or so. Great camera and works perfectly. Only Panasonic AY-DVM63MQ tapes were used in this camera.

Camera is located in Golden, CO if that makes any difference to people. I will have pictures online within the next 24 hours and will udpate this thread with a link.

I'm asking $2100 or (best offer) for everything and will ship within the continental USA via FedEx ground. For shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, etc... or if you want FedEx express shipping, that will cost extra.

All items to be sold together as a package.

PM me or email to: jeff@appliedvisual.com

And for those who remember, I had a Century .7X wide adapter for sale as well, but it has now been sold.

you might want to think a little lower if you want to sell this one. I can understand needing to get a certain amount, but I've seen the dvx100a going for this price. Maybe if you come down a bit you might have better luck. good luck!

Well, I don't need to sell it... I'm not going to lower my price, but if someone wants to come within about 90% or so of what I'm asking I'll probably consider it. I currently own two DVX's. I'm trying to sell this one and keep my 100A as a B camera when my HVX200 arrives. I don't need to have 3 cameras around, but I'm also not going to just give it away for a dirt cheap price... I'm sure I'll find uses for it. Maybe I'll keep it and send it to RealStream for an Andromeda upgrade if they ever get a working product to sell...

Anyway, sorry about not having pics online just yet for those interested. I left the digital camera at home again and the camera is at my office. Oh, well... Maybe tomorrow. And yes, the $2100 or best reasonable offer still stands. And to andrewbirch, I have already had other offers in excess of $1400.

You should try Ebay -- someoneone won't know the value and will give you $2100.

I doubt anyone here will, though the very low hours and condition are worth considering and might prove me wrong.

Good luck.

Would you be interested in a trade + some cash?

Maybe... Trade for what?

I'd be willing to trade this DVX toward a license for Shake4 as that comes to mind. Don't know if that would happen though, but that's actually what I have the proceeds from this sale earmarked for. I may trade for a really nice tripod and some other accessories and/or cash. If you have something in mind, let me know, I may be open to it. There's lots of stuff I'd be interested in, much of it costing as much or more than this camera setup. A really nice steady cam system to sue with my 100A or HVX200 would be of great interest. I need a good shotgun mic for the HVX - I'm partial to the Sennheiser 416 (I think I'd need an adapter though) or the AT4073...

When it all comes down to it, I would prefer just selling it. I'm actually getting a fair bit of response via email and several people are waiting to see pictures before they make an offer. So I guess I had better get my lazy butt in gear and put those online right now.

I'd rather take a swift kick to the... Well anyway, I may consider it at some point. But I try to use ebay as a last resort.

Doesn't hurt to ask for what I'd like to get for it. Considering what vendors like B&H are selling lease-returns and refurb units for, I hardly feel that I"m out of line on my price. And my asking price is $400~$500 less than most 100A ads I've seen lately. Like I've said, I'm getting a pretty good response via email. Granted, most of the mails are along the lines of "Dude, I only got $1200 after my payday loan and still gotta pay the landlady this week. Will you take $800 for just the camera and ship it to me overnight fedex?" ...Anyway, I do have a few reasonable offers already, but I'll still wait it out for a few more days after the pictures are online and then will probably go with the best offer I've received.

Alrighty then... I'll go get those pictures right now.

Just wanted to add that I bought the lens from Jeff (AppliedVisual) earlier this week and I received it today. It is in perfect condition. You can be confident in doing business with Jeff.

Cheers~!

I might consider at $1400.

What are you drunk!

This new "the DVX has no value" trend bugs the **** out of me. Anyone sells a DVX100 with 36 hours for $1400 is retarded!

The DVX100 packa ge is still available. Some pictures are *finally* up at http://appliedvisual.com/dvx100 and I will add more tomorrow if anyone wants to see more or something different. The pictures do not show all that is included like the DVD companion for the DVX book or the users guide or original box, et... But you get the idea.

Thanks for kind words! Hope you enjoy the lens.

You snooze, you lose.

I was going to go for the lens, but it fell by the wayside because of a deadline I had.

Congrats, wells! Use it well.

Just wanted to know if this was still available. This is just the DVX-100, not the 100A or B. So technically it's a dinosaur. I reiterate my buy at $1400.
