Fs-4 Question

I searched the board but was unable to locate an answer - so, please forgive me if this question has been asked already?

I have the DVX 100 (not the "A"). The query ... Will the DVX 100 record using the FS-4 Firestore PRO without a TAPE in the drive compartment?

If yes - great. I will be purchasing one this weekend. If not - are there any other companies that make portable drives that will allow the older DVX to record without a tape in the drive compartment?

Thank you in advance for all of your efforts and support.

Yes it will. However, you will probably have to trigger recording on/off on the FS-4, not by the camera's record button.
