fs-4 original battery length

Hey, I think I've decided to purchase the Fs-4 since it will greatly extend the life of my camera, but wondered how long the battery lasts, the one that comes with the device. I have limited budget, as most people do, and would like to wait on the purchase of the extended battery for xmas or something. Also, how about the compatibility of an old bogen tripod for the camera. I'd rather buy the fs-4 and use my old bogen tripod that I used for my digital SLR camera and wait and buy a fluid head later. I'll answer myself, the unit comes with a 90 minute battery, and I've decided to go with this and then get a tripod. Thanks to myself.
 
I recently purchased my FS-4 through www.videoguys.com and they have a kit for 799 that includes 2 batteries, extra cable, mount kit. Not too bad. (Honestly, I am not trying to push a particular vendor here).
