FS-4 file coruption --- help!!!!

Hi,

Got a question. My first child was born 2-14-07 at 8:13pm :beer:

I used my DVX and a FS-4 to record the action. All the critical footage came out fine, however some of the clips were corrupt. Not sure why this is happening but about 1 in 10 clips will corrupt. Unfortunately the tape backup was not set up correctly (never would record to the tape and I did not have time to check the settings!)

Like I said the files that were corrupt were footage of family visiting after he was born.... not critical but would be nice. I have tried the repair disk and the repair clip utilities but have had no luck.

Any help would be appreciated.

Congrats on the baby!!!

You might want to move your post to DVX forum since this is HVX and we only know FS-100 rather than FS-4.

Hi,

Thanks on the congrats. I did post in the DVX section the night he was born but the only reply was to post here as more HVX users used Firestore products......

Maybe I should just call Firestore.
