I was looking for an inexpensive way to mount my FS-100 to my HVX. In looking at all the available options, they just appeared to be too expensive for what they provided. So, I thought about what we needed to hold around the place that was about the size of the FS-100. The answer was 4lb. salt blocks for the horses. I tried the wire frame holders, and they just took too much modification. However, the plastic holders made by Little Giant held the FS-100 with friction. I can turn the holder upside down, and the FS-100 does not fall out. The pressure causing the friction does not seem excessive. I buy these holders for approximately $4, and they stand up well in the horse stalls. I can enlarge the holes in the back or drill a new one in the bottom of the holder for mounting screws. None of the buttons, fan, or connections (top or bottom) are blocked. On the sides, only the bottom two holes on the bottom vents are covered (5 of the 7 holes are open), and this could be easily fixed with a cut out in the holder. Perhaps this solution might work for you. I'm new at posting, so hopefully, I've attached a picture of the salt block holder.
