frustration in capturing

please help. sometimes when i capture tapes the image from the last tape apears on the next captured tape. resulting in the thumbnail not showing what is on the current tape but instead the last scene on the previous tape. what am i doing wrong?
 
You do nothing wrong. This is a known bug and it hasn't been fixed. Some say that it's an inherit problem of HDV, but I don't know... it bothers me too.
 
im capturing sandard def shot on dvx1008 usind another cam as a deck. is this a problem with sd as well? also it dosent happen every time
 
I don't know about SD, but it definitely happens on HDV. There is not much you can do other than use a different app to capture.
