Frustrated! Please help me with DVD Architect 4.5

I was able to figure Vegas 8 out with help from the manual and tutorials. But I just can't seem to rap my head around DVD Architect ...........and I'm getting:angry:

I rendered my video (the video consists of 6 short clips), started a menu based project, loaded the video in the DVD A timeline and now I'm stuck. I tried to make a menu by dragging and dropping a menu theme but now I have the word "Menu 1" showing up throughout the entire video.

Here are my question:

1. The markers that I placed in Vegas aren't showing up in the DA timeline. Are they there? Why don't I see them?

2. How do I create a menu and link the markers to it?

3. How do I get rid of the "Menu 1" and start over?

4. Can someone please explain the proper steps in the proper order required to make a DVD?

5. I sure could use a video tutorial that shows one how to make a DVD in DVD Architect. Does something like this exist?

1) Did you check the box to include the markers when you rendered from Vegas?

2) Create a chapter selection menu -- right-click on the item.

3) Highlight the box and press "Delete" -- or press F2 to edit it.

4) Not sure what you mean. There are a lot of different ways to do it.

5) Start at vasst.com.

1. Yes.

2. Thanks, I'll try that.

3. I think I've already tried that. But the "delete" function wasn't active. I'll try it again though.

4. Just sort of wondering, is it correct to load the video before making the menu? I want to know why it says "Menu1" throughout the entire video?
