from there to here...

Re: from there to here...

I started out with Qbasic... and that was the last time too. I seriously have no patience for numbers and programing. It was intresting at times but certainly not my cup of tea.

and http://www.genjerdan.com/MIDIVideo which is part of the move toward filmmaking, more or less.

So, yeah. Been doing it since '88 or so. Getting REALLY bored with programming, though. Unless I can think of something to write that will help with the filmmaking. Nothing boring though, like a callsheet database or anything...

Re: from there to here...

I've done some programming. Fun stuff. Started with QBasic and after firmly entrenching lots o' bad habits moved on to slowly teach myself C++. I quite enjoy programming. It's like one big puzzle!

I haven't ever written a game engine though. It would be fun but I don't have nearly enough experience. I have worked with both the 3DRad and Torque game engines. Torque is great!

Re: from there to here...

Programming is my "day job". I have been programming for 26 years now and a professional programmer for about 12 years now. My move to filmmaking has only been in the last 1 - 2 years.
