does anyone know how to do this? The usual ways (import project or copy/paste) give me loads of pre-comps which seem to reduce performance quite a bit.
So I´d like normal trimmed layers in my composition to work with.
since no one seems to have faced this problem, here´s what eventually became my workaround:
1. Once cutting in Premiere´s Multi Camera was done, I exported the whole thing as one Cineform HD master clip @maximum settings.
2. In After Effects that same clip was imported and comped.
3. MAGNUM - The Edit Detector to the rescue, this script found all my cuts at 0.8 sensitivity and split the footage into trimmed layers for me.
4. Now I can run DV Rebel Tools to CC and SFX and what not.
Although this workflow lacks the integrated smoothness of normal PPro->AE, it works just fine and fast and convenient.
