From P2 to HD...

[petelms]

Hi!

This has been discussed maybe million times before...but...

Is it possible to copy the contents of the P2 card straight to the harddisk? So, that I don't need any laptop computer...If possible what kind of harddisk is working with HVX200? Of course it has to be firewire hd, but is it all the same what kind of firewire harddisk or some special type?

Thank you. :dankk2:

in the HVX200/Hardware topic, search for this string:

dedicated-to-offload

that should help, but there are also numerous others.

Thanks I found one excellent topic! Wou, it's possible! That is great news, I'm going to buy that firewire hd and test it.

It doesn't have to be a firewire drive. It can be firewire or usb2go. You can also offload to external via a laptop's pcmcia slot.
