Hi everyone,
I shot a Monday Night Football spot locally for a bar...and we want to freshen it up now that we're a month in to the season. The client is really happy with the original though, so he wants to salvage most of the footage...we'll shoot more tonight for the game.
My home studio is rather small...and not conducive to three adult gentlemen. My thoughts are to put the project on my MBP...but not quite sure the most efficient way to do it?
I have an external drive that I can use...and I do have the most current version of FCP on both computers. All footage was shot using P2 and Canon 5d2 footage. What do I need to do? Copy project and footage to the external, I believe...and if so, how do I structure the file system so the MBP can see the whole project? I want to be able to edit on site (at the bar)...and be able to show the unused footage if he elects to use some of that as well. Essentially, I want it to show up exactly as it does on the Mac Pro at the studio.
Any suggestions? Is that new "Share" feature worth pursuing?
Thanks for your insight....I thought this would be easy enough, and my meeting is in 6 hours
We discussed the update yesterday, so this isn't a result of procrastination... I would just rather keep them away from my "Home" production "Suite"
