From Mac to PC - best compression/format?

I've edited a sequence in FCP on my Mac, and I'd like to send it (www.bigupload.com) to a friend of mine who has a PC. He can't read the .mov export, so I'm wondering what format is the best to export a FCP sequence meant to be viewed on a PC?

It's a really short sequence, about half a minute, so size isn't that much of an issue. I tried .avi and .wmv with the Quicktime Pro conversion, but they didn't come out right in terms of pixel aspect ratio.

I also have Compressor, but it can't seem to be able to output as .wmv. So what format do you guys use? Thanks.

What is he editing with?

Recently I have had good success with the quicktime Animation Codec.

I use FCP 6, and on his end, my friend uses Adobe PP 2

If its just for viewing purposes then I usually go with WMV (using Flip4mac) or MPG4 through compressor.

I have no problem giving the PC guys that I work with MOVs using the Uncompressed, Animation, Apple DV, MJPEGA, Sorenson 3, or H.264 codecs. What specific codec are you trying to use and does your PC friend have a recent version of QT installed?
