from hvx201 to macbook

Hello everyone,
I just got the hvx201 and filmed some stuff but now i want to watch the shots on my mac but its not really working jet. I tried a lot already but im not getting there

Do need to download any ieee1394 software?

Is there still a difference between the windows and the mac input?

Is it easier whit a p2 card reader?


I hope somebody can help me out thanks already!
 
Tell us a little bit more about your computer's connection, software and workflow.

Generally, using any kind of card reader with removable media is much easier than digitizing tapes (especially in the current times).
