Not actually DVX footage... Sony DCR TRV70, it actually has 30P.  so it is technichally progressive.  not bad for a 1 chip i think.  

and no its not real, i made it from latex.

Hmmm Looks like somone over-medicated. That does look good for a 1 chip. What is the purpose of the video, besides art?

it was a video instillation. that was a grab from the video part. heres the whole piece.

the pills were a combination of Percoset, Kirkland Ibuprophen, Immodium AD, and Tums.... Mmm mmm good.

you cant really see the details cause the rez isnt high enough. but the video was made up of drawings i made that i shot with a Video camera, and so teh drawings "moved" ... within another painting.

they are for sale..... if anyone is interested... haha...

Oh umm, sure. unfortunatly its hard to discuss art without sounding llike an ass. But i have huge issue with the overmedication of the US. instead of living healthy, people just destroy their bodies, then fix itlater on with patches. My family is a medical family, mom works in a Doc office, Uncle an NYC FDNY EMT ( ambulance), andmy dad is the head of Management iformation services at NY Hospitals. So im steeped in medical knolwedge. The "telly Belly" is a piece about medication, media and its impact on everyone.

the second piece is about the Hear no evil see no evil attitude alot of people have about their food. Noooone stops to think about the animal that died to make that burger... it just costs 99cents on the dollar menue. ( i am NOT a vegetarian, please keep that in mind) buti like to havea good knoledge of what i eat.

andi try to learn about everything. I actually got into Video, just wondering who invented the TV, and then i leaned about interlacing... and was mesmerized b the abstractness of the idea of interlacing, and the genuis who thought of it.... 2 years later im on the wayto becoming a professiona lVideo artist.

This is the part where I sound like the ass (and for those of you that know; I am not nor make a habit of being one). That being said...

That's just not art. Expression, maybe. A Statement, sure. But art? Come on.

Sorry; one mans Monet is anothers Velvet Dog Painting I always say. :-/

I promise I did not mean any insult towards you or anyone else who likes this. Art (Beauty?) is in the eye of the beholder. Merely my humblest of opinions (which are like assholes; evrybody got one).

Best summmed up, I could have said "This type of artistic expression does not do anything for me..."

As stated; one mans Monet.... I am sure there are types of art I like that others would go "Dude, bro. Ucck!"

No worries john. I hate the work of alot of artists, butt hey make millions a year.... that goes in film too. (cough.. When Justin Met Kelley... cough)

im not offended, llol, it was more of a joke. my own dad haes my work but my mom loves it. so go figure. my dad wwishes i made landscapes and portriats. so your right, you cant please evry one all the tiem
