Hi,

Does anybody know how the cgi guys working on Panic Room created that 3D effect from still photographs? I was really intrigued by that and would like to know more. The software, the process, maybe an online tutorial.

Thanks.

COOL!
thanks.
it seems like a lot of work; especially the "we finished modeling each building", but the result is pretty amazing.
There's a mention in the dvd about "a million dollars credits"...Damn!

it becomes much much easier if you take out the moving CG cameras. if you do lock offs, you could do this much easier with out having to do any photogrammetry.

that was a cool interview, thanks Gillock - rich lee, did you notice he mentioned he learned XSI?

I was also surprised that he uses Lightwave. It almost made me feel like switching from XSI to Lightwave - but then I realized that it all depends on how well you know the software, and if XSI is what ILM uses, hell, I'm sticking with it :D
