Friends account not being authorized?

A friend of mine made an account on here. It's been an entire 2 weeks and he still cant' post anything. He's sent emails to the web owner. Gets nothing in response. What should he do?
 
Have to keep messaging people of authority here...no one else can help.

Some have shared that it took months to finally be approved (probably extreme cases).
 
It seems like all of the Landmine Media message boards(DVX, RED, BMC) are like this, now. When I joined here five years ago, I don't even think it took a day. I've been waiting for full approval on REDUser since June 2018. And plenty of others are going through the same thing on BMC, as well. I understand that the mods and admins are probably just doing this in their free time, but something has got to give. Has it become a situation of, if you're not already a member of the club, you can't be a member of the club, so don't ask?
