So... I decided to give this TV show a chance... had heard it was good from a friend... well, I just finished watching the first season, in a week's time... it was that good... I got completely hooked. The performances and writing of this show is some of the best I've seen from television... and it's truly a breath of fresh air in the network TV drama's scores of police and crime shows...

If you haven't seen this show, I highly recommend checking it out... now I'm onto season 2! :beer:
 
I am currently watching Season 4, and still love the show. Some episodes and plot threads are better than others but overall it's a solid solid show. Season 5 begins airing at the end of this month and is the final season.
 
I've just seen seasons 1 and 2, and agree - season 1 was fantastic. Season 2 was just so-so. Hopefully it picks up after that.
 
I like this show. very well written, I think. And according to my Texan wife, and extremely faithful and honest depiction of that culture in Texas.
