Fresnel reflector bent - return or replace?

I just bought my first pro light, a 650w Altman fresnel. I bought it used and just received it today but I was a little disappointed when I opened the box. The reflector behind the lamp is bent out of alignment. There was also a bolt missing.

Will the bent reflector affect the light?

I paid $150 for this Altman and it was supposed to be in "great condition." I'm not too concerned about the bolt, but is the reflector easy/cheap to replace? I haven't been able to find any place that sells replacement reflectors for Altman. If I have to return the light, it's going to cost probably $15-20 to ship.

Based off of principle I would return it. However that is not hard to fix. You should be able to do it with pliers if you need to get by until you can return it.

Looks like it warped from the heat which is a common problem with lights... I don't think it would be a problem .... Crank it up & see if it is...

All the reflector does is keep light heading the wrong way from being wasted. Technically speaking, as long as the reflector still reflects all of that light back towards the fresnel, it is doing its job. If it is bent, it might reflect it more heavily somewhere other than the center of the lens, but that really shouldn't ever be an issue. I'd say keep the light.
