whats up I just registered with this board, thought i'd start off with a fresh topic for you guys. Before i get to the point let me introduce myself. I am a professional cinematographer like most people here, I live in chicago, my other passion is freestyle rollerblading and I own a rollerbalding clothing company. I do many different types of productions, but currently my main project is I am producing a dvd film series for the freestyle rollerblading industry. The premiere issue should be done sometime towards the end of this summer, and then distributed before fall. A new issue will release semi-yearly if all goes on schedule. I will be posting trailers and more info on here when time gets closer to the release date. Now i dont want you guys to think this post was a complete waste cause there is a point to it. In the rollerblading industry, when skating films are released they are truly done in a way never done before. Mostly shot with GL1s and GL2s, but they outcome is that of an unbelievable quality. And everything was shot on location at skate sessions, no acting, just think of them as extreamly well filmed documentaries edited like music videos. As you will see when I post some of my work on here. A good friend of mine from new york owns a clothing company himself called |B| Unique & Company, and they release team videos every year. They have just recently released the third mixtape, titled; FREESTYLE ROLLING. The filmer / editor / cinematographer is Chris Brown, he's the same age as me, 16 years old I think hes turning on 17. He has been editing alot longer then me and he is basically who inspired me to improve my cinematography and now me and him basically are on the same level of cinematography. We have the same style, technique, only his films are for the |B} Unique team only, where as most of mine will cover alot of skating from coast to coast as well as competitions and such. Now yeah this board is about the dvx cameras and most people say gl1s and gl2s arent good enough for shooting films, well the people who said that obviously hasnt seen any work from the top cinemtographers in rollerblading. Below is a link to the website and trailer for freestyle rolling, you guys should check it out and buy it if you can, it is truly an inspiring film.

thanks for your time and reading this long ass post.
