I'd just like a bit of insight into what is expected when doing freelance work in terms of contracts.
I've been working for a company doing videography and editing/general post for a while now, but am thinking of going freelance shortly.
What sort of contracts are used for general freelance work, and when would they be introduced?
Say I apply for a job from an online job board, would I include the contract in my first contact, would I bring a print out along with me on the first day?
I'm in the UK if that makes a difference.
