Freelance Booking Cancelation Fees?

I wanted to start a dialogue on here about what all of the DPs on DVXuser feel is an acceptable notification for work cancelation, and get an idea of how everyone works clauses into their contracts... etc.

I've been dealing with how to bill people for late cancelations, and generally PMs have been pretty rude and authoritative about how such things are handled.

Any advice would be terrific.

If they "Booked" you or "Firmed" you up then it's 50% cancellation fee if it's within 24hrs. If you were just on "Hold" and then they released you and if it's more than a 24hr notice then there's no fee.


On a separate thought, I'll also like to here what everyone else does too.
