Freecaom DAT drive as backup

I just want to tell you guys I plan getting this unit from Freecom. It is an external USB-DAT drive that takes the rather inexpensive DDS4 tapes (20/40GB about € 5 each). The drive seems to be made by HP. Looks to me like a great backup solution in field and at home. Usually those DAT drives needed internal SCSI cards, but with this unit you are really flexible. I have used DAT before when a 4GB tape was much and took 1-2 hours to be filled. Now these units do 20 GBs in the hour or so.
With the size of 20GBs for me most projects can be put onto 1 - 5 tapes as if it was long DVCProHD tapes.

I saw this in Austria for € 340. That looks like a winnter to me....
