Wack. The last "physical" copy went out this month. And I really liked that publication.

Can't drag my G5 to the toilet to read the "digital subscription".

Not to disparage ZaZa from passing on the link, that was nice.

I hate it when publications go all digital. I was a fan of Film & Video. HD is my favorite now.

I hate to say it but you will soon see the end of all trade print magazines for our industry. If you read most of them, they are 80% advertising now and very little content. I know, I just read my last print issue of Studio Monthly.

Personally, as much as they have tried to make it a similar experience, I don't like reading magazines on my laptop, you have to zoom around to see detail in fine print or on images. Sad, but we are near the end of an era, just like newspapers. The cool thing is the amount of video that former print entities are putting up on their websites. That means more video jobs eventually.

Glad I didn't waste my time today filling out the questionair Studio Monthly sent me via email to keep the print's coming to me, wats up with that? I think the only one I read was the one about Les Stroud's Survivor Man show and how he shoots / produces it. Loved It! Only one though...

Not much in that magazine for indies execpt ads and more Kona Aja ads... Creative Cow was ok but I boycotted them for thier stupid link rule to dvxuser.com and other sites. Media suicide in my opinion. My favorite print mag is one called HDVideoPro, I have every issue since it has been published. Although I do think they need more real world stuff in it for indies. Corrado article's were real world good reading!

Gotta run, Les Stroud is on Science Channel right now and just found a toilet plunger in an unpopulated forest. LOL :) It's good TV :)

they would a nice little tutorial now and then, which I looked forward to, but I did like to read it in the john. don't think I'll do that anymore.

I'm curious home many DVXers read and respond to posts on their laptops while on the john? I sense a poll being needed here! ;-)

Studio monthly is MUCh better than that advertising-disguised-as-a-video-magazine "DV".

It is almost to the point where the damn thing is one big ad.
