Hi, DVXusers,

Over the years I've been mentoring friends and colleagues and recently started teaching a free (because I love discussing stories) workshop on screenwriting. After having worked with many different writers with different writing styles, including my own, I've come up with a system (based on many sources and experiences) that seems to help some people.

I decided to put it all online so I didn't have to repeat myself over and over again to those who inquired about it. It was designed with feature screenplays in mind, but most of the methods apply to shorter screenplays as well.

If you find it useful, great. If not, it didn't cost you anything.

No problem, Sam. In addition to steps that help you get from concept to completion, I'm also pooling as many resources as I can onto the site for quick and easy reference.

Now to get back to my own screenplay :)
 
Phillip this web site is really nice & I like the poster for your movie. I sense your passion -- keep going! Look into John Truby's book, he has some interesting things to share ... and Jeff Kitchens ... it's really good stuff!
