free online document storage?

Are there any free online document storage sites you recommend? It's just word, pdf and fd docs I need to store online, nothing too heavy. I heard Yahoo and Google have something, but I can't find it.

Thoughts, recommendations?
 
Hi Ila, So what do you know about them, are the reputable? I have very sensitive files so I'd like to go with someone you guys have used and trust.
 
I used them some time ago when they were new, but I left them because now I hav e my own server. I didn't have any problem, none of my sensitive files were exposed anywhere. Other than that you can share the files you want with other people if you want. You tell the system to share the file and it moves the file and gives you a link to share it.

As I said, I was one of the first people to try their service, and I must sa that it saved me lot of times......
 
I would be weary of having my data held on some remote server..

Personally encypt my data (after coding my own encyption engine) then making multiple copies, some are laser etched onto stainless steel sheets, then buried in secret locations around the world :) ok kidding...

I'm paranoid because I learnt the hard way...

I don't feel totally easy if I'm not surfing from within a virtual machine that runs on a deepFreeze PC... held behind NAT address thats been MAC cloned and going via at least two proxies :)

true true, but even then someone with too much free time will break into your files ...I have too much free time.....I wish I also have plenty of programing knowledge and then I'd break into your files and rule the world!

other thing, I wouldn't really trust microsoft..... being a windows 7 rc version(the one that expires in 2010) user I can tell that just by changing the date of the system you can fool the trial period....
