I'm nearly finished with my first short. I made a bunch of mistakes but I'm happy with the fact that we shot 30 pages in two days and got decent coverage. The end product is ok for a first timer, but no where near festival quality.
Anyway, I want to have a party for the cast, crew, family and friends to screen the movie and have some food/drinks. But, I'm on a very tight budget.
Anyone know of any places in NYC where you can get an area to view a movie for cheap or free if you buy pizza and beer?
I'm thinking that I could spend a total of $500 on the room, food and drinks for about 30 people.
Someone mentioned PopBurger. I can't find much info on it. Are there any other places in NY, Brooklyn, NJ? Thanks.
