Free Business Cards

I've seen a bunch of people post about business cards and last year I ordered "free" business cards from Overnight Prints and I think it's a great deal. How can you complain about free. yes you pay shipping, but for real...

Today I got an email with the offer again and I thought I'd share it with the DVXusers.
Until October 16th you can
receive 100 corporate quality business cards for FREE. Simply enter
the discount code 'CARDS08' on checkout page to take advantage
of this limited time offer.

I have nothing to do with them. Just sharing the info.

Overall I like them... but lately the quality has been hit or miss... and sometimes in the same order! I ordered 1K cards for a friend of mine... cards that I designed for him including a photo of him on the card... and the 1K cards very from perfect color, to really dark. It's almost like 20% of them are borderline tossers.

Then there was one other time that I got wacky colors... and my rounded corners were pretty wonky...

Aside from that... I'm usually very happy with them, and I order from there often.

I use clubflyers.com for my cards. 1000 card for $30. That's crazy. Kinkos charges $30 for a few hundred and that's black and white. I got 1000 full color glossy cards on good stock, non of that flimsy bull. You can get 500 cards for free. They also have great prices on flyers and such.

Nate... thank you very much! I will give them a try!

Overnight prints says 15pt business cards, but that is with UV coating... so I'm guessing that Club Flyers is probably the same card stock quality.

This post was interrupted by a google session... and all I can say is wow... the economic crunch is good for a guy buying cards... there are a lot of places that are SICK cheap. I used a local printer for some high-end business cards a few years ago... and for 500 cards, no bleed, color one side only, it was something like $130. Seriously.

When I found overnight prints I thought my prayers were answered... and now after searching I can't believe how many places are offering the same or better options, for less money then even overnight prints!

I'm finding places that have 16pt card stock at lower prices.

Overnight Prints says 15pt with free UV... but they used to say that it was 14pt and 15pt IF YOU ADDED the free UV... and I can't find the answer to that now. Does anybody know? The reason it matters is I want to know if I order 16pt cards from someplace else will they be noticeably thicker?

I'm not due for business cards... but wow... I can't believe all the deals!

I'm looking at VistaPrint, GotPrints, Blockbuster Prints... and the list goes on... they are all offering what looks like incredible deals... as good or better then Overnight Prints.

Hopefully we can figure out who is the best. As I said before... most of the time my Overnight Prints orders are great... but they've botched a few things through the last couple of years. My latest order of 1K cards (at $60 w/ ship) for example... 25% of them are too dark.

You may want to avoid VistaPrint. They used to auto-sign you up for some kind of "rewards" package that takes money from your account every month. No one even knows what this package is to my knowledge.
