Does anybody remember a link *(I think it was posted here, not sure)* to where you could order up to 500 free boxes that would be delivered to you, free shipping and all?

Thanks

I want to build myself a robot suit out of boxes so it's kind of important that I figure this out in a timely fashion

The USPS hands out free boxes. Visit their website.

... However, it's illegal and inethical to use them for anything besides shipping with Priority Mail...

Hmmm, you should come over and see my USPS box tree house / fort.

monte- I'm not sure about the link, but just go to grocery stores and ask them if they have any extra boxes laying around that they want to get rid of. I used to do it all the time in college when I needed them to move from crappy apartment to crappy apartment.

Horse I am shocked you did not mention the liquor/beer stores. Mucho superior boxes, and you get some shopping in.

Copy centers and appliance stores are also good sources for boxes.

Fed Ex will also give you free boxes. Actually, they'll even deliver them to your door for free. By next day Fed Ex service, of course.
