Free 3D software

Unfortunately, Anim8or is really only useful for modeling. Texturing, animation, rendering, etc. are best left to another program.

I'll have to check this out when I get home tonight. Looks pretty good.

Most of the good, free web 3d tools are strictly modelers/texturers. If they have other features, they are usually very weak. In 3d you get what you pay for in a big way.

Blender is an open source full package, but I don't like the interface. I did get it work once or twice on my PocketPC though.

I've been playing around with this, and as KingVidiot is saying, it doesn't seem to be designed for animation beyond simple movements.

Wow, Pablo Picasso's prom date... what a gal.

Yea it is not too bad, I use it for a few things. Also they have a new freebie each week (only for registered users). I get freebies from Daz3d, contentparadise, and renderosity to name a few. Have to register on all of them but for free stuff it is worth it. Also with DS1.0, it will handle poser6 models.

BTW on contentparadise they have several very nice dinosaur models. The one for last week was a gator, but they have some very nice models there as does DAZ.

If you guys want a free modeling program,
www.wings3d.com

Wings is free. Is based off the software Nendo which was strong back in the late 90s.

That's a pretty good tool.

There's also SPatch and JPatch. They are excellent modelers, but they do require patience since the interfaces are unique.

Limehouse, some people might think that was intentional.:cheesy:
It looks like some of your vertices were deselected, or your bones weren't assigned properly.
