freaking out about M2 adapter...

read the forums over at redrockmicro.com--you should have a customer log-in to get to the rest of the set up information. There are some great video tutorials.

You don't need to forget about Zooming either--it seems that you're just using Primes right now...they do make Zooms for still cameras.

Its not about the adapter its about using the right lens with the adapter.
Like a still photographer you will want to accumulate a collection of lenses like this in whatever brand you prefer

I've read a lot. I'm having a real issue with sharpness as well. The images are not as sharp as i would like....maybe is the light.

I have an M2 and have found it to be a bit tricky and cumbersome to use. When it works, it's GREAT. But getting desirable results takes a lot of practice. You should watch the downloadable training videos on the Redrock Micro website...more than once.

I'm looking forward to mounting a Canon HV20 to my M2. Along these lines, next week I'm going to experiment with an M2 and Sony HC3 combo. The small, lightweight cameras may make M2 use a little more convenient.

I have the M2 and I'm never looking back. I even started experimenting with different cinescreens, abrasions, and coatings such as Vaseline and Nivea Cream. You can get some amazing effects prior to post.
