I'm wondering if there's any screenwriters out there who are big fans of Frank Cottrell Boyce's work?
He's the screenwriter for
24 Hour Party People
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0274309/
Tristram Shandy: A Cock & Bull Story (although credited under a pseudonym)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0423409/
Code 46
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0345061/
If you are a big fan of his work and feel you have some material in a similar vein, I would love to get in touch. I'm a director looking for someone to collaborate with who shares my taste. I'm also based in Melbourne, Australia, so if you're local, that would be even better.
A long shot perhaps but it never hurts to ask, eh? I'm new to this site but there seems to be a s***load of great people and information.
EDIT: Perhaps a bit random but I thought that if you are interested by my post, you might also be interested to read an essay I decided to put on my blog (why? I dunno) comparing 24 Hour Party People and Tristram Shandy. It'll at least give you a good idea of my interpretation of these films.

I desperately want to work with a talented writer!
